Footpath along Adur River, heading towards Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex. Stamens start falling off from teh bottom of the plant thus fruits start forming from the bottom and work upwards. You can just see the four tiny petals in this image.

Southbank Equestrian, New Hall Lane, Small Dole, Henfield, W Sussex (car park). Anthers are dying off here - they are usually pink. The little pipe-cleaners are the stigmas. They are longer than in Greater Plantain.
